LHTC Results Roundup, Weekend of May 17-18, 2025: A Historic Half and…an Official Beer Mile?
The first annual Aslin x LHTC Beer Mile brought foam, fire, and fast feet as six Light Horse runners tackled four laps and four beers:
Tyler Koons – 7:40
Jessie Hogue-Morgenstern – 7:45
Colin McCauley – 8:50
Alex Coole – 9:42
Sean Nickley – 9:49
Kevin Walther – 11:34

No records broken, but certainly some barriers were.
Meanwhile, down in Fredericksburg, Nick Onorato raced the 2025 Marine Corps Historic Half, finishing in 1:22:16 and cracking the top 15 overall. Here's what he had to say:
“I hadn’t been training for a half marathon recently and only really did this because some UMW buddies wanted to put a team together. I didn’t have huge expectations for this but I was at least shooting for top 15 which I was able to achieve.
I started off with the group but in hindsight I should’ve paced it more like I did Richmond and started slower giving myself energy for the tougher hills in the latter half of the race. I did end up slowing down a good bit during that latter half but so did a lot of people so I can’t complain too much.
My team of friends won with the 4 of us getting a combined time of 5:13:26 with a spread of 6 mins between us. Overall it was a cool race and I’m more motivated to train specifically for it next year.”
